Communities and organizations can use the Hexagon Tool to understand better how a new or existing program or practice fits into an implementing site’s current work and context. The Hexagon Tool can assess fit and feasibility at any implementation stage. It is most commonly used during the Exploration stage when an implementing site identifies and selects new programs and practices.
Any community can use the tool below for any field. An adaptation of the tool for use with Head Start grantees is also available below. An adapted tool used by CalCurriculum is also available, with Hexagon Tool Case Studies describing the implementation experiences of four districts.
